Mechanical Assembly

Mechanical Assembly

Electrical installation of automation systems requires precise positioning, assembly and set-up of all devices such as roller conveyors, cross-travelling carriages and lift tables in advance. To this end, we have expanded our portfolio and now also offer preparatory mechanical assembly by our own specialists. The synergy effects are obvious with a smoother workflow, fewer interfaces and, last but not least, lower organizational overhead.

This means that certain work can be integrated by the electrical contractor at an early stage and optimised thanks to simplified access options. Clever parallelisation and coordination of work processes can achieve considerable benefits in terms of quality improvements, resource and time savings. At the same time, the mechanic can keep an eye on the subsequent cable laying of his ALC team colleagues and can incorporate appropriate optimisations through short coordination channels.

fractal assembly teams

To implement optimizations and cost savings while maintaining clarity, we use fractal assembly teams in our project. This allows the smallest units, the assemblers, to have a comprehensive overview of multiple levels and trades within their team, resulting in shorter coordination paths. In addition, the management level is able to act flexibly without having to work out every detail at the higher level. As a result, teams exchange information and solutions to efficiently handle recurring tasks in extensive installations using existing approaches.
Finally, this organizational form fosters competition between the individual fractals, allowing each employee to find motivation for the next step in a manageable environment, with successful steps inevitably being adopted by other teams.
